There's a first time for everything
[m.p.]
For the first time in my life, I saw a handicapped person using a handicapped stall. It was a dude in a wheelchair. I can't believe that I've seen 10,000 handicapped equipped bathrooms in my life; and this was the first time I saw one used for someone it was intended for.Usually, I "assume" they're just used so the gays can have a little more room to move, but this was (apparently) a straight guy who was simply handicapped. Amazing!

Iwould like to point out however, that if I don't receive a payment bythis Friday (9th of May) I will take a walk down to the court houseand have the sheriffs office knock on your door at your house on GlenMill in the middle of the knight with summons in hand. Perhaps youwill have easier time explaining that to your wife than you will havetelling me why you don't want to pay.Thank you.- Show quoted text -Reply Forward Bradford C. Wilcox Mark, don't be a child. Your check is on it's way. Reply I'm just a man who is trying to collect his money at a time whenpeople are strapped, hardly your situation-you live down the streetfrom a friend of mine who knows you, and don't want to pay. I havebills too and they don't care if you have paid or not.

A story I almost forgot to tell
[Mother Goose]
So I was at a clients house the other day, lady was at work, but her nanny let me in. The nanny was from Ukraine, about 25 years of age, decent looking.I was working in the kitchen and this little yippy dog was outside in the back yard, and it kept barking by the kitchen door like crazy. So I said to the dog; it's ok, calm down. This is when the girl came into the kitchen and asked if the dog was bothering me. I said; nah, I'm ok.She went outside and all I heard was: "schto, schto"... which means "what, what" and proceeded to whoop the dogs ass. Needles to say the thing shut up, but I wounder how the kids fare when they get out of line.

Boring ending to an almost-good story
[m.p.]
I was training tonight in FL, and this guy comes in, while people are stretching before class. He introduces himself to the head instructor, an MMA fighter and Gracie black belt. The guy appears to be a lost soul, who apparently found a local Shaolin temple as his new religion. Meak, slightly hippy type. Well, he must have drank the Kool-aid, because he explains that he trains Kung Fu at this place, and they hold challenge matches there, and would the instructor entertain a challenge match at the Shaolin temple. The instructor starts asking questions, such as how much money is on the line, etc. The challenger explains that he doesn't know the details, as he's only trained there for three months. Instructor says - I only fight for money. The challenger turned around and walked back out the door.

funny how little respect UFC gets from mainstream
[Beefy Deuce]
there is a kid that I know of who just got out of college with a degree in Journalism. He got an internship at USA Today. They gave this kid the UFC beat... basically he is the dude that covers the UFC (and by that i presume the only thing that they know as MMA) for a NATIONAL newspaper. Sure its awesome for him.... he gets to go to every one of them.... but just think how ridiculous it is to give a whole sport to some fresh out of school intern.

The Snitching Project
[wpr101]
"The Snitching Project, led by Dr. Rick Frei at Community College of Philadelphia, is an ongoing student-driven interdisciplinary research initiative aimed at developing a better understanding of the snitching phenomenon and facilitating community discussion through education. The project uses focus groups, surveys, and interviews to collect data regarding attitudes towards snitching, as well as dispositional and situational variables that might influence a person's propensity to cooperate with police. The Project also sponsors an interactive wiki, which includes results from the data collection effort, as well as an extensive history of snitching, links to relevant web sites and articles, an on-line version of the survey, and a forum for discussing snitching."Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Snitchin'

damn gas prices!
[Beefy Deuce]
really makes you think about buying a prius.... and i probably would if i didn't have a car or my car blew up.... but i was giving it some thought... especially considering the claim that by peak summer the prices may go up to $5 a gallon...and if you have a car thats paid off but isn't that gas efficient... do u really save anything by buying a new one?at the current gas prices i estimate about $240 a month on gas... so lets say with a prius that would be cut down to $100 a month... so thats a $140 savings... but considering the 25k just blown on the prius and probably a higher insurance premium since its a newish car.... u don't save jack....bottom line is that you can't win.
